NORTH VERNON, Ind. – Indiana State Police (ISP) and the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to conduct a joint investigation of a missing Jennings County man.
The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office was initially contacted on March 28 by the family of Brian K. Kirby, 52, of North Vernon, when he failed to return home. Kirby was last known to have been seen at a home on Primshire Court in Country Squire Lakes, in the evening hours of March 27.
Kirby is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. Kirby was believed to have been wearing a gray “Tennessee” sweatshirt and blue jeans on the night he disappeared.
Detectives have collected evidence in the inquiry but are not releasing details at this time. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
