GREENWOOD, Ind. – The city of Greenwood and Indiana State Police (ISP) are celebrating the opening of ISP’s new hangar at Indy South Greenwood Airport today, July 21.
In early 2019, Greenwood officials and state police finalized an agreement that included the new hangar, with office space, for the ISP Aviation and Special Operations Sections and personnel.
They broke ground on the hangar last June and completed construction this spring. ISP recently finished moving personnel and its aviation to the new location.
