COLUMBUS, Ind. – Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives, along with Columbus Police Department and the Indiana State Police, apprehended Markquiel Derrick, of Fort Wayne, during a traffic stop last Saturday night near Indiana Premium Outlets, in Edinburgh.
The suspect, who was wanted for suspicion of murder, was transported back to Fort Wayne and booked into the Allen County Jail.
The murder charge for Derrick reportedly stems from a shooting incident, just after midnight on Friday, August 14.
