NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) is hosting its first Sunday Funday next month. The event is scheduled for April 25, from1 to 4 p.m., at the Jennings County Fairgrounds.
The day will consist of real scenarios taken from previous police incidents. Participants will be selected to act as law enforcement deputies to resolve the situation. There will also be demonstrations from the JCSO K-9 officers, SWAT members, and a question-and-answer session.
Hotdogs and drinks will be available for residents who wish to attend. Enjoy a meal while having some fun interacting with Jennings County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Kids are welcome and the whole family is invited. JCSO hopes to make this an annual event.
