NORTH VERNON, Ind. – A North Vernon Police Department (NVPD) officer pulled over a car for a violation on Sunday in the area of Franklin and North State Streets.
While speaking with the driver of the vehicle during the traffic stop, the officer said he thought he detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside.
An investigation resulted in a search of the car that allegedly yielded a large number of illegal drugs, including approximately six ounces of marijuana, various forms of THC edibles, THC vape cartridges, approximately 21 grams of methamphetamine, and other drug-related items.
NVPD says Kelli Cravens, 43, of North Vernon, was arrested and charged with dealing in meth, possession of meth, dealing in marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
