HAYDEN, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant Wednesday morning at a home in Hayden, near the Hayden Elementary School. Three people were taken into custody for dealing or possessing illegal drugs. Along with allegedly finding the drugs, a large amount of cash was also recovered.
Before deputies started their search, it was determined that the residence was unsafe because fentanyl/heroin was airborne. The Indiana State Police Clandestine team responded to make the house safe to enter.
Taylor Johnson, 21, of North Vernon, was charged with dealing methamphetamine (enhanced due to location near school) and dealing narcotics. Cailin Schwein, 20, of North Vernon, was booked for dealing narcotics and dealing meth (enhanced due to location near school). And, Casandra Wright, 27, of French Lick, was arrested for possession of narcotics. All three suspects are in Jennings County Jail.
