FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin held a dedication ceremony for its new Safe haven Baby Box, at Fire Station #22 on Thornburg lane, on Wednesday evening. City officials called it, “A wonderful moment in Franklin history.”
The Baby Box was officially dedicated and is available for use so that a mother in crisis will have the ability to make sure her baby has a life.
The Franklin Mayors Youth Council, the Franklin Township Trustees, Mayor Steve Barnett, Fire Chief Matt Culp, and all of those involved that made this a reality were thanked. Franklin Chief of Police Kirby Cochran Sr. very succinctly said, “Community partnership wins.”
