COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Planning Department invites you to an open house to discuss an update to the CAMPO long-range transportation plan, also known as the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP).
The open house is this Thursday, August 5, at the Columbus Fire Department’s Evolution Training Center, 2670 Verhulst St., from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
CAMPO, the Columbus Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, is provided staff support by the Planning Department and is responsible for receiving and distributing federal transportation improvement funds. The MTP is a roadmap for how local government in the Columbus area will plan, build, operate, maintain, and partner on transportation improvements over the next 25 years.
The open house provides a chance for the public to review future development and transportation scenarios, provide comments, and help prioritize future transportation improvement projects.
