COLUMBUS, Ind. – Exhibit Columbus debuts its third showcase this Saturday, August 21. The opening weekend celebrates the city’s architecture and design legacy with photography, 13 site-specific installations, and a graphic identity and wayfinding system.
This weekend is the only opportunity during the biennial exhibition’s three-month run for residents and visitors to meet and greet the curators, architects, artists, and designers who created the installations. The free conversations with the participants are Saturday at First Christian Church at 1 p.m. and in Mill Race Park at 7 p.m.
The 2021 Exhibit Columbus route is about 1.5 miles and takes approximately two hours to walk. The theme of this year’s expo is New Middles: From Main Street to Megalopolis, What is the Future of the Middle City?
