SEYMOUR, Ind. – Thanks to some community partners, Seymour residents will soon be able to play disc golf.
Disc golf is played much like golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, though, a flying disc or FrisbeeĀ® is used. Players compete for the fewest throws rather than strokes.
Seymour High School’s construction class, led by teacher Jerrell Hubbard, recently spent time on-site planning and installing Seymour Parks and Recreation’s new 9-hole Disk Golf course at Freeman Field Recreational Complex.
The course should be open to the public soon.
