COLUMBUS, Ind. – Bartholomew County Works will be offering its next Job Readiness Training Workshop the week of May 9, in the Sarla Kalsi Conference Room, at YES Cinema. Participants attend the weeklong workshop from 9 am to 4 pm.
Workshop topics include: Applications, Resumes, Interviews, Personality and Skills inventories, Attitude & Empowerment, Relationships & Networking, Dealing with Stress, Conflict Resolution, Goal Setting, Interview Attire & Body Language, Money Management, Healthy Choices, Answers to Tough Questions, etc. Organizers say this is also a great opportunity to meet potential employers who attend segments of the workshop. Recent graduates have received full-time job offers within one week of class completion with an average rate of approximately $18 per hour.
