COLUMBUS, Ind. – After two cancellations due to COVID-19, Our Hospice of South Central Indiana will finally welcome Yacht Rock Revue to perform live at the 36th annual free summer concert tonight, Saturday, September 3, starting at 6:30 p.m, in Mill Race Park. The Labor Day weekend event is Our Hospice of South Central Indiana’s biggest fundraiser each year.
“We have waited three years and we are ready to finally get YRR on stage,” said Laura Leonard, Our Hospice President. “Our Hospice is a not-for-profit service that needs the generosity of our communities to support our fundraiser which allows us to continue to provide the highest quality palliative and end-of-life care for your family, friends, and neighbors.”
Yacht Rock Revue will perform an evening of songs from the ’70s and ’80s. The band’s local connection, Nicholas Niespodziani and Peter Olson, met in the fourth grade in Columbus, went on to Indiana University in the late nineties, and eventually launched Yacht Rock Revue.
