GREENWOOD, Ind. – Center Grove High School Choirs, including Sound System, The Debtones, and CG Singers, competed at Pike MusicFest last weekend. Sound System was awarded Second Runner-up and the Debtones were the Grand Champion in the Large Unisex division.
The Debtones also received caption awards for Best Choreography and Best Vocals. The CG Singers received First Runner-up and Best Bass Section.
Individual Performers recognized were senior Preston Fisher as Second Runner-up in the Solo Competition, sophomore Lizzy Talla as Best Performer for The Debtones, and sophomore Krishaan Vidya as Best Performer for Sound System.
Center Grove High School Show Choirs will host the Best of the Midwest show choir competition on Saturday, February 18. Center Grove Sound System, The Debtones, CG Singers, Surround Sound, and The Accents will compete at Franklin Central Hoosier Show Choir Classic on February 24 and 25.
