INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) and its Indiana Main Street team will host eight in-person Main Street 101 trainings across the state. They will take place from May to August in different regions, with two held in Indianapolis. Attendance at one Main Street 101 is required to apply for OCRA’s Downtown Affiliate Network in the 2023-2024 application cycle.
The training provides in-depth details on the Indiana Main Street program and the Main Street America Four-Point Approach. During the training, attendees will learn about changes to the Indiana Main Street program as well as application information for prospective communities.

The training dates and locations include:
- Northwest: Tuesday, May 16, at 120 W. Washington St., in Monticello.
- Northeast: Thursday, June 29, at 2545 Silveus Crossing, in Warsaw.
- West Central: Thursday, June 15, at The Tenzer Hub For Entrepreneurship, in Greencastle.
- East Central: Tuesday, June 13, at the Riley Home and Museum, in Greenfield.
- Southwest: Thursday, May 25, at The Indiana Theater, in Washington.
- Southeast: Tuesday, June 20, at Dearborn County Library, in Lawrenceburg.
- Central: Monday, August 7, at Indiana Government Center South, in Indianapolis.
- Central: Thursday, August 17, at Indiana Government Center South, in Indianapolis.
