COLUMBUS, Ind. – Bartholomew County has been included in the Small Business Administration (SBA) declaration, for disaster assistance, as a result of the March 31 storms in Indiana. A Business Recovery Center (BRC) will open at the Grace Assembly of God Church in Whiteland on Friday at 9 a.m. SBA loan applications are open to individuals, businesses, and nonprofits.
Low-interest disaster loans are available to businesses, private non-profits, homeowners, and renters. Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website and should apply under SBA declaration # 17881 or visit a disaster recovery center in the area.
SBA Customer Service Representatives at the Center will assist business owners and residents in filling out a disaster loan application, accept documents for existing applications, and provide updates on an application’s status.
