BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – After a warrant was issued for his arrest, Nicholas P. Jackson, 39, of Bargersville, turned himself in at the Johnson County Jail on Tuesday. The charges against Jackson include Child Solicitation-Solicitation to engage in sexual intercourse or other sexual conduct, Possession of Child Pornography, and Dissemination of Matter Harmful to Minors.
Johnson County Sheriff’s Office detectives had obtained a warrant from Johnson County Superior Court #3.
The arrest was a continuation of the Sex Sting Operation that was conducted in November 2023. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin Police Department, and the Edinburgh Police Department are all working together to combat this problem. Investigators have also brought the US Secret Service into Johnson County.
Sheriff Duane Burgess said, “Chief Kirby Cochran of the Franklin Police Department, Chief Doyne Little of the Edinburgh Police Department, Prosecutor Lance Hammer and the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office, and myself are committed to continuing these types of operations. We must have these relationships to keep children and the citizens of Johnson County safe.”
