FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin College hosted its time-honored Ben Franklin Scholars Day in December, welcoming students from Indiana and numerous states to campus to compete for the college’s top scholarships.
The competition drew 132 high-achieving and academically resilient participants and $3,116,200 in scholarships were awarded.
Those competing for the awards were required to have been previously admitted into the college and to have a 3.9 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale at the time of admission.
The college plans to host another Ben Franklin Scholars Day on Saturday, March 2, to accommodate those who were unable to attend in December. Scholarships will range up to full tuition, and eligible seniors can still apply for the opportunity to compete for these coveted awards.
