COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus Fire Department (CFD) has announced the promotion of two firefighters within the Fire Investigation and Inspection Division.
Inspector Troy Todd has been promoted to Fire Marshal. Marshal Todd will oversee the Fire Investigations and Inspections Division and continue providing inspection and investigation services. He has served in the investigation and inspections Division since 2020 and has been with the Department since 2002.
Firefighter Andy Johns has been promoted to Inspector, an Administrative Captain rank. Inspector Johns has been with the Columbus Fire Department since 2015. In addition to performing building inspections within the City of Columbus, he will also conduct fire investigations within the city.
