COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Indiana Youth Institute will host its 2024 State of the Child-Bartholomew County event on May 1 at the Columbus Learning Center. It will offer key data on youth well-being in Indiana drawn from the recently released 2024 Indiana KIDS COUNT Data Book.
The KIDS COUNT Data Book examines various facets of Indiana children’s well-being, including the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and persistent racial and ethnic disparities across Family and Community, Health, Economic Well-Being, and Education domains.
The event serves as a resource for policymakers, youth workers, advocates, and leaders, furnishing reliable and comprehensive data to fuel positive change for Indiana’s youth. It aims to provide an interactive platform for attendees to explore local data and interact with professionals in the youth-services sector.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions on leveraging data for actionable outcomes. Register for the upcoming State of the Child event here.
