EDINBURGH, Ind. – The John R. Drybread Community Center has announced the newest public art installation to coincide with the “Total Eclipse of the Art” party happening in less than two months.
Artist Chelsie Liberati’s mural design was chosen to be painted on the side of the Sakura Event Center and Rental Venue, at 126 E. Main Cross St., facing Holland Street, downtown.
Information on the timeline of the mural is coming soon.
The artwork is made possible by a grant from the IU Center for Rural Engagement for the Total Solar Eclipse.
Edinburgh is in the path of totality for the April 8 phenomenon and is celebrating with the “Total Eclipse of the Art” event.
