COLUMBUS, Ind. – Over the weekend, an Indiana State Police (ISP) trooper arrested a 33-year-old Columbus man on charges of reckless driving and engaging in a speed contest after stopping the motorcycle he was operating.
The motorcycle was clocked at 132 mph on I-65 in Bartholomew County.
The suspect was allegedly racing two other motorcyclists who could not be stopped or identified.
ISP reminds motorists to drive responsibly.
All arrested subjects are presumed innocent until and unless they are proven guilty in court.
