EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Town of Edinburgh has partnered with HWC Engineering to create a community-wide comprehensive plan, a document establishing a vision for Edinburgh’s future to guide town leaders when making decisions on growth/development in the community.
A public workshop for the comprehensive plan is set for Wednesday, March 27, from 6 to 7 p.m., in the Edinburgh Town Hall, 107 S. Holland St. You are invited to come and help identify the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for Edinburgh.
The plan will also be used by Edinburgh residents and business owners, giving them a reference point when assessing the decisions made by community leaders.
If you can not make the meeting, officials ask that take a survey on the comprehensive plan. The study will close at the end of the day on Sunday, March 31. To take the survey, go here.
The survey results, community data, and stakeholder conversations will serve as a foundation for drafting a community-wide vision statement and supporting goals that will shape Edinburgh’s future.
