INDIANAPOLIS – Bartholomew County Assessor Ginny Whipple was recently elected District Vice President of the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) Southeast District during the annual meeting in Switzerland County.
“I’m very honored to serve the Association in promoting county government and look forward to meeting new people,” said Ginny Whipple.
As District Vice President, Whipple represents the elected county officials in the Southeast District, which includes the local counties of Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, and Jennings. There are six districts in the state.
Whipple serves on the AIC’s Board of Directors, which determines policies and legislative goals for the Association.
The meeting also included a synopsis of the 2024 Indiana Legislative Session by AIC legislative staff.
