EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) invites locals to its Introduction to Shooting Workshop on Tuesday, June 18, to learn to shoot in a safe and comfortable environment.
Before spending most of the class on the range, participants will learn firearm safety, firearm and ammunition basics, and range etiquette. The workshop will start at the Atterbury FWA headquarters in Edinburgh, and then participants will drive to the Atterbury Shooting Complex for the range portion of the class.
Certified instructors will teach participants how to shoot rifles, pistols, and shotguns.
This event is limited to participants 18 or over. All equipment will be provided. You should wear close-toed shoes and avoid wearing low-cut shirts.
The class is free but has a limited capacity. Individuals are asked to register here.
DNR values inclusion and access for all participants and will provide accommodations for the workshop.
