BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY/JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. –Indiana State Troopers of the Versailles Post executed a targeted enforcement patrol on Interstate 65 in Bartholomew and Jackson Counties on Friday, September 26.
State Troopers looked for motorists operating unsafely and/or committing criminal violations. Participating troopers issued 35 traffic citations and 31 warnings. 28 of the issued citations were speed-related.
Additionally, troopers cited a driver for driving with a suspended license, located a wanted subject, and made arrests for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. And troopers got into a pursuit with a stolen vehicle on I-65 Northbound in Bartholomew County.
The suspect, 18-year-old Draymond Prince from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, was taken into custody on numerous local charges.
