NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday afternoon that escaped felon David Bowe, 53, of North Vernon, was found and arrested at a Country Squire Lakes residence.
The suspect had fled from police custody in the area of Willow Way in Country Squire Lakes last week.
The fugitive was originally arrested on felony drug charges and is now facing additional charges of escape and theft. Bowe was taken to St. Vincent Jennings Hospital for the treatment of dog bites he received from K-9 Vampir during the apprehension.
