FRANKLIN, Ind. – Access Johnson County announced Monday that it is offering curb-to-curb rides through their Demand Response service to all COVID-19 vaccine clinics held at Johnson County Public Library branches this summer. The seven clinics, administered by WindRose Health Network, are being held at JCPL branches in Trafalgar, Franklin, and White River.
Becky Allen, Access Johnson County transportation director said, “We realize that transportation is a barrier that prevents people from getting vaccinated. I am happy that Access Johnson County can provide this service at no charge so we can increase vaccination rates throughout our county.”
Access Johnson County’s Demand Response service offers curb-to-curb service between two locations within Johnson County. Reservations are required. To schedule a ride, call 317-738-5523 at least 24-hours in advance.
