SHELBYVILLE, Ind. — Advantage Shelby County Scholarship students are helping keep the scholarship promise with ‘Shelby Feud 2.2’ on Thursday, February 2 at the Strand Theater in Shelbyville. The event, in the vein of the television show Family Feud, will present 16 teams.
The price of admission is five non-perishable food items to be donated to the local Shelby County food pantries.
Shelby Feud 2.2 is a fundraiser developed by the Advantage Shelby County ASAP students. Students running Shelby Feud 2.2 are in Ivy Tech Community College’s Associate Accelerated Program (ASAP) where they earn an associate degree in just 11 months.
As the first program of its kind in Indiana, Advantage Shelby County (ASC) is a promise scholarship and a collaboration between city and county governments and Ivy Tech Community College. The program provides scholarship funding to qualified Shelby County students to pay tuition costs not covered by state, federal, or institutional aid.
