COLUMBUS, Ind. – Indiana Chamber of Commerce CEO Vanessa Green Sinders will address the Columbus and Bartholomew County business community at the forthcoming annual meeting of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce which is being presented by Centra Credit Union.
The annual meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, at The Commons and is the community’s largest business event of the year.
At the event, the Chamber will also bestow the Edna V. Folger Teacher of the Year Award, the Company of the Year Award, the Project of the Year Award, and the Community Service Award.
In her keynote address sponsored by Smithville, Sinders will share insights on how to propel Indiana to new heights, emphasizing the abundant investment, expertise, and opportunities that define the Hoosier state.
She became the Indiana Chamber’s first female president and CEO in January. After 20 years in Washington D.C. at the center of politics and power, Vanessa moved “home” to Indianapolis. Previously, Vanessa served as senior vice president for government affairs at Charter Communications, a Fortune 100 cable and broadband company.
