SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Seymour Police Department (SPD) received a call on Tuesday about an individual possibly operating a dentist’s office without a license. After the initial complaint, investigators conducted follow-up investigations and interviews.
On Wednesday, SPD detectives and Jackson County Sheriff’s Department investigators executed a Jackson Superior Court 1 Search Warrant at a residence on Gaiser Drive in Seymour.
During the search, law enforcement allegedly found evidence that dental work was being performed at the location. Some evidence included dental instruments, medications, ledgers, miscellaneous items, and an undisclosed amount of United States Currency.
As a result, SPD arrested Freddie Phillipe Pascual, also known as Freddie Chapin, for practicing dentistry without an Indiana state license (level 6 felony) and criminal recklessness (class A misdemeanor).
Pascual was taken to the Jackson County Jail. Additional charges are possible.
