COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus Propeller (The Prop) invites the public to its Open House at 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., on Wednesday, June 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. This free, family-friendly event for all ages offers a hands-on introduction to Propeller’s unique maker space, designed to support creativity, learning, and community innovation.
Guests are invited to meet local makers, participate in fun and engaging activities, and watch equipment demonstrations highlighting the tools and technologies available at Propeller.
Guided tours of the facility will be available throughout the evening, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the maker space and the tools members use for personal or professional projects.
Visitors can also explore The Prop’s Summer Workshop Calendar and sign up for upcoming classes in everything from fabrication to hands-on art projects. Food and drinks will be available from local vendors.
“We’re excited to welcome the community into our space and share the creative energy that Propeller is all about,” said Tracy Munn, Training Coordinator at Columbus Propeller. “Whether you are a maker, a student, or just curious, this event is a great way to get inspired.”
