FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin College’s annual #GRIZTuesday event on Tuesday, Dec. 2, marked another record-setting 24-hour giving day, with generous donors contributing a remarkable $224,030, surpassing last year’s total by more than $20,000. Proceeds from this event will go directly toward supporting the College’s athletic programs.
“We are very grateful to everyone who came together from across our Franklin College community to help enhance the experience of our student-athletes,” said Franklin College President Kerry N. Prather. “Our alumni, friends, and corporate partners continue to demonstrate remarkable loyalty and pride in supporting the Grizzlies.”
The College leveraged a variety of communication platforms, including social media and college-owned channels, to promote #GRIZTuesday and rally support.
This year, Elwood Staffing and Miller Transportation served as the lead sponsors for #GRIZTuesday.
Although #GRIZTuesday has concluded, donations are still welcome at franklincollege.edu/giving/.
