COLUMBUS, Ind. - Young musicians in the area have a shot at the spotlight as the Columbus Area Arts Council (CAAC) announces the return of the "Battle of the Bands."
The competition invites performers ages 19 and under to take the stage at The Commons on November 20.
The process begins with a video submission, due by September 25. Selected performers will then advance to live auditions at Columbus East High School in October.
The CAAC "Battle of the Bands" finalists will compete for a cash prize and a future performance slot at Arts Alley Parklet.
The application deadline is September 25. Young artists are encouraged to prepare their submissions to secure their chance at local fame. Apply here.
