COLUMBUS, Ind. - Bartholomew County Treasurer Barbara Hackman reminds residents that the deadline to pay Bartholomew County Fall Property Taxes is Tuesday, November 10.
The Bartholomew County Government Office Building, 440 Third St., Suite 103, in Columbus, is open daily, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For taxpayer convenience, citizens have several ways to pay their fall property taxes:
- Mail - Remit payment to Bartholomew County Treasurer, P.O. Box 1986, Columbus, IN 47202. (Must be postmarked on or before November 10 to be considered on time)
- In-Person - At the Government Office Building, 440 Third St, Suite 103, from Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Dropbox - Use the 24-hour drop boxes at the Government Office Building, 440 Third Street (across from The Crump), or on Franklin Street at the back entrance to the building
- Banks - First Financial Bank, Jackson County Bank, Horizon Bank, German American Bank, and Centra Credit Union are accepting payments starting October 14
- Online or Phone - Pay by credit/debit card or e-check at bartholomew.in.gov, or by phone at 844-278-9126 (a convenience fee will be assessed)
Taxes are due even if you do not receive a statement.
