ELIZABETHTOWN, Ind. - The Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation (EBWC) issued a Boil Water Advisory on Sunday for customers in the Elizabethtown area with low or no water pressure.
The advisory includes residents from Legal Tender Road to Grammer, and south on State Road 7 to County Road 900N.
Cloudy water is caused by air in the lines, which results in low pressure. Workers are flushing the lines to speed up air removal.
The Boil Water Advisory will be in effect through Wednesday, October 28, at 4 p.m.
EBWC advises residents to boil any water used for drinking or cooking for at least five minutes and then cool it before consumption.
