COLUMBUS, Ind. – All City of Columbus offices, including Columbus City Utilities, will be closed this Monday, January 19, to observe the holiday celebrating the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Bartholomew County offices, including Solid Waste Management and the Columbus Recycling Center, will also be closed for the holiday. The Bartholomew County Landfill will be open for its normal hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Even though offices are not open, all trash and recyclable collections are on schedule with no delays.
Regular business hours resume on Tuesday, January 20.
Columbus City Utilities says that if you experience a problem with your water or sewer service on MLK Day, call 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
