COLUMBUS, Ind. - Since Bartholomew County will remain under a Travel Warning (Red) until at least Tuesday morning, City of Columbus and Bartholomew County officials have determined that most employees will have an E-working Day on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

All city facilities will be closed; however, phone and email communications will continue to be monitored. Essential personnel, including those in law enforcement, fire services, the Department of Public Works, Utilities, and others, will operate as usual.

ColumBUS Call-A-Bus will be in operation on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Although the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center and BCSWMD offices will be closed, the bartholomew County Landfill will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
