In the spring of 2025, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department was contacted regarding a young child whom Larry Allen Williams had inappropriately touched on two separate occasions. Detectives with the Columbus Police Department continued the investigation, concluding that Williams had committed those crimes earlier that year.
Williams pled guilty in November 2025 to two counts of Child Molesting, both Level 4 Felonies.
Evidence was heard at a sentencing hearing on Thursday, January 8. Bartholomew Circuit Court Judge Kelly Benjamin sentenced Williams to 12 years on each count, to be served consecutively, for a maximum sentence under the law.
