COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Columbus Area Arts Council (CAAC) series, First Fridays for Families, kicks off the 2026 season on Friday, February 6, at 5:30 p.m. at The Commons. Doors open at 5:00.
First Fridays for Families introduces young audiences to a wide variety of performing arts in a fun and informal setting at The Commons.
This year's first show is STEAMpunk by BCSC Elementary STEM. Step into a world of gears, gadgets, and imagination. Families are invited to explore hands-on STEAM activities inspired by the whimsical world of steampunk.
Tinker with mechanical creations, experiment with simple engineering challenges, and let creativity run wild. Costumes and goggles are encouraged.
Other performances in the CAAC series are on March 6, April 3, and May 1.
First Fridays for Families is made possible by Patrick & Sharon Andrews, with additional support from the City of Columbus.
