SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. - The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood Warning for parts of Bartholomew, Johnson, Jennings, Jackson, and Shelby Counties in south-central Indiana until 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
The following rivers are under the Flood Warning:
- East Fork White River at Columbus
- Driftwood River near Edinburgh
- Flatrock River near Columbus
- Muscatatuck River at Vernon
- East Fork White River at Seymour
- Big Blue River at Shelbyville
Major river flooding is expected. Heavy rainfall of three to well over six inches on Tuesday night and continued rainfall on Wednesday and Wednesday night will bring flooding to area waterways.
