COLUMBUS, Ind.– River Valley Legal Aid has announced a Free Legal Walk-In Clinic on Tuesday, March 24, at the Bartholomew County Public Library in Columbus.
The free clinic, from 3 to 5 p.m., is for low-income residents in Columbus and Bartholomew County.
The Legal Aid Clinic and Pro Bono Program utilizes local volunteer attorneys to offer free legal consultations to low-income individuals, providing legal advice and assistance in furtherance of equal access to justice within the community.
Receive free legal advice on family law, child support, divorce, guardianships, housing, powers of attorney, and more. However, criminal law questions will not be entertained.
Participants in the Legal Clinic on March 24 can expect a 10-minute in-person consultation on a civil matter, on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no need to register in advance.
Registration ends at 4:30 p.m. that day.
