ALPHARETTA, Ga. - The holidays are over, but one of America’s favorite legacy brands, The Honey Baked Ham Company, might be bringing even more cheer to Bartholomew County.
The brand is eyeing Columbus for its next franchise location, expanding its footprint across Indiana. A spokesperson for HoneyBaked says the company is now in the process of vetting real estate options and franchisees to own and operate the store.
Known nationwide for its signature glazed hams, HoneyBaked has become synonymous with family gatherings and holiday traditions for more than 65 years.
The company continues to evolve, making it a year-round favorite with fresh lunch offerings, catering services, and curated retail products.
In 2025, the Honey Baked Ham Company opened 12 new stores and signed 20 development agreements, signaling the brand's commitment to expansion and growth in high-demand markets.
As HoneyBaked eyes Columbus, the brand plans to establish a locally owned and operated franchise, creating new jobs and bringing a tradition closer to home.
