INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Real Estate Institute (IREI) and Ivy Tech Community College recently formed a new partnership that focuses on increasing awareness of real estate education opportunities and career pathways in the Hoosier state.
Approximately 20,000 real estate agents, managing brokers, and broker companies are licensed in Indiana. Between 2,500 and 3,000 new agents and brokers are needed each year due to retirements and turnover.
Ivy Tech and IREI saw the need for a more coordinated effort to expand awareness of real estate education and make it easier for Hoosiers to explore flexible, career-focused learning opportunities.
IREI provides real estate education for aspiring agents, newly licensed brokers, and experienced professionals throughout Indiana. It offers state-approved pre-licensing, post-licensing, continuing education, managing broker training, and workshops to support students at every stage of their careers.
Ivy Tech Community College is Indiana’s public community college system, providing affordable education statewide, serving more than 200,000 students in over 40 locations across the state, and offering associate degrees, certificates, and workforce training programs.
