COLUMBUS, Ind. - The new City of Columbus Community Garden lottery system for prospective new gardeners is now live.
Through March 20 at 5 p.m., those wishing to be entered into a random drawing to claim one of the available plots in the Columbus City Carden this season can do so by submitting the form available by clicking here. The drawing will be conducted on Thursday, March 26, at 10 a.m.
Each entrant may select to be considered for a large plot, a small plot, or both. Only lottery entrants whose household does not currently participate in the Community Garden will be considered, allowing for new participants.
Once lottery winners are selected, they will be notified and will have until April 10th to secure their registration via registration form and plot payment. Submitting the form does not guarantee a plot; drawings for available plots will be at random.
All Community Garden participants must live within the Columbus city limits.
