COLUMBUS, Ind. - The City of Columbus Engineering Department has recently upgraded the traffic signal at the intersection of 10th Street and Whitfield Drive, near Walmart and Lowe's.
The new light includes a protected-permissive left turn phase. Drivers will now see a green arrow for protected left turns, followed by a flashing yellow arrow. A flashing yellow arrow indicates you may turn left after yielding to oncoming traffic and pedestrians.
This improvement helps reduce delays while maintaining safety for all road users.
Use caution and watch for the new signal indications as you travel through the intersection.
