HOPE, Ind. - The Town of Hope welcomes the annual "Smoke on the Square" this weekend, featuring mouthwatering BBQ, great company, and plenty of fun.
This event welcomes competitors from near and far to showcase their skills. Experts and certified judges from the Kansas City BBQ Society will judge the contest.
The Community Center of Hope, home of the Hope Food Pantry, hosts "Smoke on the Square" on the historic Hope Town Square on Friday, May 15, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m. until the food is sold out.
Proceeds benefit the programs and services offered by the Community Center of Hope.
