COLUMBUS, Ind. — High school senior projects will bring multiple charitable community events to downtown Columbus this November following approval from the Board of Public Works and Safety.
Greyson Kesler received approval to host "Battle of the Bones," a chili cook-off benefiting Toys for Tots, scheduled for November 14 on Fourth Street near Fourth Street Bar.
In addition, Ian Gabbard was approved to organize the Love Chapel Car Show at the former Sears parking lot, featuring classic vehicles and local food trucks to raise support for Love Chapel.
The city is waiving standard event fees and coordinating security, liability waivers, and setup logistics in partnership with the Office of Downtown Development and local sponsoring organizations.
