COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus City Council approved a resolution authorizing the Columbus Redevelopment Commission to spend $1,798,040 in TIF funds for infrastructure improvements in the Central Allocation Area.
The funds will support roadway and utility upgrades along County Road 300W and International Drive north of State Road 58.
Work on County Road 300 West includes widening the pavement to meet industrial collector standards, installing curb and gutter, upgrading the storm sewer, installing 750 feet of 18-inch gravity sewer, and installing 50 feet of 12-inch water main. Work on International Drive includes geometric realignment and lane widening to accommodate full-size semi-truck turning movements.
Both projects support industrial expansion in Woodside Northwest following recent city property annexations.
