Greensburg, Ind. — The Greensburg Municipal Airport Board announced the appointment of Robert Pumphrey to fill the vacancy left by Gary Bailey earlier this year.
Pumphrey, President of AgPro in Greensburg, brings experience in agricultural leadership, farm management, and business development.
After earning a degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, he joined United Feeds and then returned to the family farm in 1998.
At Ag Pro, Pumphrey initially focused on swine production before becoming President in 2007. Since then, he has led efforts in operational planning, risk management, and business development, guiding Ag Pro’s ongoing growth and adaptation while upholding the company’s core values.
“The airport is a vital part of our city’s infrastructure,” Pumphrey said. “It serves visitors, supports local businesses, and is home to a vibrant aviation community. I look forward to working with the Board and city leaders to advance its role in Greensburg’s future.”
