SEYMOUR, Ind. - Two men were busted by the Seymour Police Department (SPD) after their car was stopped for a traffic violation near West 9th and North Elm Streets on Wednesday, April 1, at 6:20 p.m.
Officers determined that the driver of the vehicle had a suspended license. They also reportedly found a firearm inside the vehicle.
During the investigation, police allegedly located methamphetamine, marijuana, and other drug-related items.
As a result, SPD arrested Jerry Blythe Jr., 59, of Crothersville, for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Obstruction of Justice.
Benjamin T. Kerkof, 43, of Seymour, was also taken into custody for Possession of Meth with a Firearm Enhancement and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both suspects were taken to the Jackson County Jail.
